Hi, I’m Dominique, founder of Brightly Home Staging, a Belgium-based home staging company dedicated to helping sellers achieve the best possible results in today’s competitive real-estate market. In other words, I make buyers fall in love with your home.

Originally from Canada (Québec), where home staging has been a standard practice in real estate for decades, I was exposed very early on to the powerful impact staging can have on the sale of a property. Now living in Belgium for over 15 years and a proud mum of two young children, I combine this North American perspective with a strong understanding of Belgium market and family living.

With a strong passion for interior design, lifestyle aesthetics and property marketing, I realised how essential it is for homes to make an immediate emotional connection with buyers. Over the years, I have seen how small adjustments — colour, layout, light, and decor — can dramatically influence interest, offers, and selling price. Especially in Belgium, where properties are often sold with clutter, old furniture and outdated rooms or left empty, hoping the buyers can project themselves.

My approach is both creative and practical: I focus on showcasing the property’s full potential while keeping buyer psychology, market trends and local demographics in mind. I create clean, inviting, modern spaces that highlight a home’s strengths—without heavy renovations or unnecessary expenses.

For me, staging isn’t about decorating a home. It’s about telling its story, helping potential buyers connect emotionally the moment they step inside, and giving sellers the best possible chance at a quick, successful sale.
